I really wish that I had had a better lense available when taking photos for this challenge. I found it really hard to get the effect I wanted because the lense would not focus as closely as I had hoped it would. Regardless of the lense, I am really proud of this photo. I think just looking at it you can almost physically feel the paint peeling. It sends a shiver down my spine, I love when I create an image that makes me feel something and I think this one certainly does that.
This is a concept that I find very hard to plan for. It is difficult to think of objects to photograph or how to compose an image in such a way that the viewers eyes are drawn to a certain part of the photo, but I love the effect. I think that photos that use leading lines are very appealing and often create a feeling in the viewer of want. They want to see more, they want to know where they are and what is surrounding them. I love that this concept can create that feeling.
I love this photo! I think the composition is really incredible and I love how it starts blurry, comes into focus, and then gets blurrier and blurrier as it becomes further away. I love the rich fall colours and the way your eyes are drawn across the screen to a part that is unknown. It makes the viewer curious.
I really enjoyed taking this photo because at first I wasn`t sure if the pumpkin would float or not but as soon as I let it go it started to float away. It was hard to keep it in one place as I couldn`t hold it and take the picture at the same time. I don't think that these photos are my best work but I really enjoyed taking them.
